Echinocereus

ECHINOCEREUS.jpgThese small cacti, usually do not exceed 20 cm, originate from Mexico and the West and Central America. Is tubular with fleshy stems, erect or creeping, that stand alone or branching from base. Have wonderful colored flowers with green stigma. There are cacti green, fluffy and others with dense spines. The scientific name is the Greek origin (echinus = hedgehog).
