Leptospermum scoparium
The leptospermo hails from Australia and New Zealand where it responds like a tree or shrub evergreen. To us is a dense shrub or seedling pot with a tall trunk. Has nice cinquefoil flowers, usually white, pink or red, single or double. The narrow pointy leaves smell very nicely. The leptospermo needs a place with light and sun, summer heat, preferably outside, cooler winter. Watered abundantly summer with non-calcareous water, fertilize each 2 weeks, and damp waters in winter. The transplanting only be done if necessary. Occasionally you can prune. The branches you stop can be transplants. The leptospermo has rich flowering, but many whims: wants watering with soft water - or more better distilled and pruning after the flowering.
